GUIDELINES
The Member NCB(s) of the IECEE are the sole Organizations in conjunction with their associated CBTL(s), in the field of the IECEE operations, entitled to apply to operate the relevant IEC standard(s), edition(s) and amendment(s).
When National Differences exist against the relevant IEC standards, it is the responsibility of the Member NCB(s) to declare such status for each standard/edition(s)/amendment(s) and provide details of such National Differences by sending an email with the details to the IECEE Secretariat.
The Member Body is required to endorse the National Differences, Special National Conditions, Group Differences, by being copied in the email sent to the IECEE Secretariat.
Regulatory Requirements shall be declared under the responsibility of the NCB.
IECEE Member NCB(s) are kindly requested to provide this information in electronic format (MSWord).
The Member NCB(s) “Scope Extension Request” can be declared/requested either by using the:
*Note: The Fast Track Extension request requires an application that shall be addressed to the IECEE Secretariat according to draft OD-CB2007 as applicable.
**Note: The Scope Extension request requires an application that shall be addressed to the IECEE Secretariat according to OD-CB2007 Part 5 or 7 as applicable.
For Member NCB(s) located in the same country where Regulatory Requirements, National Differences, Special National Conditions and Group Differences apply, it is the responsibility of the Member NCB(s) to coordinate, nationally, in order to provide the required information to the IECEE Secretariat once.
Of course the NCB must coordinate with their Member Body or the IEC National Committee to make sure that they are provided with the appropriate information.
